Sparks Will Fly nat. album tour Maitland feat. Magpie Diaries

  • The Grand Junction Hotel 88 Church Street Maitland Australia (map)

Fremantle WA based rockers Lincoln MacKinnon and The Wrecking Train launch their second studio album SPARKS WILL FLY and are celebrating with one hell of a national tour!

The band are stoked to be playing the famous Grand Junction / Junkyard in Maitland with good friends and local legends Magpie Diaries.

Sometime assassins, sometime saints, Lincoln MacKinnon and The Wrecking Train combine uplifting choruses, heart- break harmonies and a barely contained menace to produce their own pumpin brand of dirty-blues-rock that is as powerful as it is memorable.

"Front man Lincoln MacKinnon stalks the stage like a tousle-haired Delta preacher who’s just about to experience the rapture while high on amphetamines. He’s unpredictable, mesmerising and shakes out his words and guitar licks like he’s been shot through with electricity. Backed by one of the best bands going around, MacKinnon and his unholy henchmen own the stage" - Andrew Thompson - Around The Sound.

Based in Fremantle WA, these port-town rockers have been wowing crowds across the country with their infectious melodies; energetic live shows and their wild and unruly swagger. With recent shows with celebrated Australian bands: Kill Devil Hills, William Crighton, Tex Perkins and The Southern River Band, Lincoln’s contagious hooks are spreading...

So kiss your lonely days goodbye, it’s time to knock over some beer glasses as Lincoln MacKinnon & The Wrecking Train bring their savage glee to The Junkyard!
